Can you read this?

Many of the children we work with struggle with reading.

There are many children in local inner-city schools who struggle with reading and encounter barriers to learning throughout each day in school. Weak reading skills prevent them from reading for pleasure and enjoying a world of fiction, not to mention their ability to cope and be independent in the real world.

By giving one hour of support a week, you can help them to become able and confident readers in time for the transition to high school, to access the full curriculum and to achieve their potential.
