Schools and Academies

esol2

We are aware that schools are regularly being asked to support migrant children and their families many of which have little or no English on arrival. This not only has detrimental effect on the learning of pupils but also on their access to the school's and local services.

Learning Partnerships  can offer a number of courses which will help improve the pupils understanding of English, including English speaking and listening and English reading and writing. We offer these at both accredited and non-accredited level.

You can be assured of the quality of our provision. Learning Partnerships are on the 11-19 Off Site Learning Framework Agreement for Leeds City Council. All providers on this framework are quality assured on behalf of schools in line with the current Ofsted inspection framework. Learning Partnerships are quality assured for the 13-16 age group and for the delivery of ESOL provision.

We would be happy to visit your school/academy to discuss any courses you may require. We can develop a customised course to fit your pupils and the schools individuals needs.

Prices may vary depending on your requirments as we have to make a small charge for the development of any customised course.

Standard non-accredited courses can be delivered to groups of 6-12 pupils and we charge a tutor fee of £60 per hour for the course. Therefore a 20 hour course will cost £1,200 which could work out at as little as £100 per learner per course.

Costs for our accredited course are attached.
