Inspire and Achieve

Good news stories

Mumtaz started our Inspire and Acieve course in March 2013. At the beginning she saw herself in an admin position but after couple of weeks she realised that her eloquence as well as friendly and professional manner would allow her to find employment in the Customer Services sector. In April, she visited Direct Line Group with her fellow learners. From there it all happened really quickly. Just after the visit, Mumtaz decided to apply for a job she sailed through three interview stages and in June she officially started working in their call centre!

Mumtaz is a brilliant example of a hard-working and intelligent young person, who with the right advice and guidance as well as a little bit of inspiration can achieve more than they have ever expected! And after all, this is what Inspire and Achieve is about...

This is what Mumtaz said about her experience on the Inspire and Achieve course:

'I am grateful to LP for the support and guidance they have given me to aim for my goals. I came onto this course looking for voluntary work in admin. With the help of my case workers I applied for Customer Service position at Direct Line Group. I visited the company with my peers and decided to test my luck and I was successful. Thank you, Learning Partnerships - I really appreciate everything that has been done for me.'
